Global Ballooning Australia – Experience, Brand and Content Development

Global Ballooning Australia is one of Australia’s most celebrated hot air balloon companies. After 25 years of successfully operating premium hot air balloon flights over Melbourne and the spectacular Yarra Valley, Global Balllooning was looking to take the next step in their evolution.

From 2016 to 2017, Global Ballooning engaged GAO to undertake a full operational review to reposition the business to capitalise on the growth opportunities in Asia and help develop a dedicated China engagement strategy.

GAO delivered research programs, new business systems and detailed consumer insights. These informed the development of an integrated program of brand positioning, sales, marketing and content development activities such as:
– Review and redevelop GBA’s global brand positioning, brand optimisation and undertake a visual refresh
– Develop a new Chinese website and in-language sales and marketing material
– Create and produce a new promotional video using the latest 4K (Ultra HD) technology
– Customised smart phone app for guests with in-language content, including safety and technical videos
