For over 40 years, SkyBus has been operating one of Australia’s safest, most reliable and affordable airport transport services. Today, SkyBus’s iconic red and white vehicles transfer over 5.5 million passengers per year in Melbourne, Auckland and Gold Coast.
Recognising the importance of international visitors to Australia and New Zealand, and to capitalise on opportunities from the growing Asian markets, SkyBus engaged GAO to develop and implement an integrated strategy to guide the organisation’s international engagement.
Under this Program, GAO has assisted SkyBus with a range of strategic planning, experience development, digital and social media engagement, creative design, sales programs and marketing initiatives aimed at the Asian markets.
To better understand the visitor journey, GAO has delivered mystery shopping programs, cultural awareness training and tools, visitor wayfinding strategies and multi-lingual creative services. We have also provided translations and in-language graphic design services in a range of languages including Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Building on the success of services in Melbourne and Auckland, GAO is also assisting SkyBus to investigate new strategic partnerships, travel trade distribution channels and other opportunities to expand its business.
